He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Athens and a postdoctoral fellowship from the Biomechanics and Motion Analysis Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA. He also holds a Medical Degree and a postgraduate degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has specialized in minimally invasive hip and knee surgeries, as well as robot-assisted hip and knee arthroplasty in the USA. He possesses extensive professional experience in the treatment of sports injuries, adult reconstructive surgery, and major joint surgery from Orthopedic Clinics in both the United States and Greece. In addition to his private practice, he is the Director of the Robotic Orthopedic Fast-Track Rehabilitation Clinic and the Musculoskeletal Oncology Clinic at the Athens Medical Center, while holding the academic position of University Fellow at the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Athens with a specialization in Hip and Knee Surgery.
