Karioti Paraskeui is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician and PhD candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a private practice in the Depot area of Thessaloniki. She studied Medicine at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Crete. Subsequently, she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the 3rd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she later served as a Volunteer Scientific Collaborator, a position she holds to this day. Επίσης έλαβε περαιτέρω εξειδίκευση σε προχωρημένες τεχνικές λαπαροσκοπικής και υστεροσκοπικής χειρουργικής στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ulleval του Όσλο. Το 2001 απέκτησε την Ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση Κολποσκόπησης από το Βασιλικό Κολλέγιο Μαιευτήρων - Γυναικολόγων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, ενώ το 2002 πιστοποιήθηκε από το Family Planning Association της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Το 2005, με την επιστροφή του από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Νορβηγία, εντάχθηκε στο Νοσοκομείο ΜΗΤΕΡΑ στην Αθήνα, ως Μαιευτήρας Γυναικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην Εξωσωματική Γονιμοποίηση και τη Λαπαροσκοπική - Υστεροσκοπική Χειρουργική.
