He studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly and a Doctorate (PhD) from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He has received specialized training in In Vitro Fertilization at the Newcastle Fertility Center (UK), following a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Furthermore, he is certified in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi, India. He has extensive experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics, having worked in various hospitals in Greece and the United Kingdom, performing a large number of deliveries, surgeries, and in vitro fertilization cycles. In 2025, he was elected and sworn in as Assistant Professor at the University of Thessaly. Since then, he has contributed both teaching and clinical work in the Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic of the University General Hospital of Larissa. Finally, he specializes in Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Surgery, in vitro fertilization, and colposcopy.

Ο Δρ. Λαζάρου Απόστολος είναι Μαιευτήρας - Χειρουργός Γυναικολόγος και διατηρεί το ιατρείο του στις Συκιές Θεσσαλονίκης. Είναι Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης της Α' Μαιευτικής - Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θ.εσσαλονίκης "Παπαγεωργίου". Dr. Spiliopoulos Dimitrios is an Obstetrician - Gynecologic Surgeon with extensive experience and specialization in Prenatal Screening, Fetal Medicine, and the management of high-risk pregnancies. He is a member of the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), directed by Prof. Kypros Nicolaides, and holds certifications for performing all fetal ultrasounds and intrauterine procedures. He completed his medical studies at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He obtained his specialty title in 1989 and in the same year was awarded a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens.
