Ηλικιωμένη με υδαρείς κενώσεις και αέρια: Να δώσω προβιοτικά;
Ηλικιωμενη γυναικα εχει υδαρεις κενωσεις. 1 εως 2 φορες τη μερα, αλλα λιγη ποσοτητα. Πολλα αερια και με αυτα αποβαλλονται συνηθως τα υγρα αυτα κοπρανα. Εδω και 2 μερες δεν τρωει γαλακτοκομικα , λαχανικα μονο πατατα , καροτο και φρουτα μηλο μπανανα. Τσαι και λιγο μελι μεσα, συν 1 μικρο μουστοκουλουρο για πρωινο... Πραττω σωστα η να δωσω προβιοτικα και ισως ιμοντιουμ?

Το Imodium δεν θα το συνιστούσα διότι θα μπορούσε να οδηγήσει σε δυσκοιλιότητα στους ηλικιωμένους. Επίσης, έως 2 κενώσεις την ημέρα δεν είναι πολλές σε συχνότητα. Σημειώστε πάντως πως εάν υπάρχουν απότομες αλλαγές στις κενώσεις σε ηλικιωμένο που δεν έχει κάνει πρόσφατα κολονοσκόπηση, συνιστάται διερεύνηση της αιτίας ειδικά εάν το σύμπτωμα επιμένει.
