Είναι φυσιολογικό να έχω διάρροιες δύο εβδομάδες μετά τη διακοπή γλουκοφάζ;
Καλησπέρα, πρόσφατα διαγνώστηκα με αντίσταση στην ινσουλίνη και μου συνταγογραφήθηκε γλουκοφάζ των 850 (ένα για 10 μέρες και μετά δύο την ημέρα). Είχα πολύ έντονες παρενέργειες και μειώσαμε τη δόση! Ωστόσο οι έντονες διάρροιες συνεχίζονταν σε βαθμό που δεν ήμουν λειτουργική στην καθημερινότητά μου! Σταμάτησα να το παίρνω και ενώ έχουν περάσει δύο εβδομάδες εξακολουθώ να έχω πολύ έντονες διάρροιες. Είναι φυσιολογικό ή πρέπει να απευθυνθώ σε κάποιον γαστρεντερολόγο;

Προφανώς οι διάρροιες δεν οφείλονται στο Glucophage. Οπότε να σας δει γαστρεντερολόγος.

Παρότι το σύμπτωμα αποτελεί σχετικά συχνή παρενέργεια στην έναρξη αγωγής με το φάρμακο, η επιμονή του για τόσο διάστημα μετά τη διακοπή του φαρμάκου δεν είναι κάτι αναμενόμενο. Αναλόγως της ηλικίας σας και τυχόν επιπλέον ιστορικού (ή λήψη άλλων φαρμάκων) θα ήταν σκόπιμο να κάνετε μια σειρά εξετάσεων.
