Ρευματοειδής αρθρίτιδα: Ένεση εμπρέλ και αντιβίωση, πόσες μέρες αναμονή;
Έχω ρευματοειδή αρθρίτιδα, κάνω ένεση εμπρέλ κάθε 15 ημέρες. Το ερώτημά μου είναι τώρα που παίρνω αντιβίωση λόγω λοίμωξης, μπορώ να κάνω την ένεση ή πρέπει να περάσουν κάποιες μέρες και πόσες μετά την αντιβίωση.

Επειδή το etanercept (enbrel) όπως και όλοι γενικά οι βιολογικοί παράγοντες προκαλούν ανοσοκαταστολή, δηλαδή ελάττωση της άμυνας του οργανισμού, συνιστάται η διακοπή των βιολογικών παραγόντων, όσο παίρνει κανείς αντιβίωση, ούτως ώστε ο οργανισμός να μπορέσει να ανακτήσει την ικανότητα άμυνάς του και να μπορέσει να δράσει το αντιβιοτικό. Αφού ολοκληρωθεί η αντιβίωση, μετά από μερικές μέρες μπορείτε να ξαναξεκινήσετε το βιολογικό παράγοντα. (Οι λοιμωξιολόγοι λένε ότι πρέπει να έχουν περάσει τουλάχιστον 14 μέρες από την έναρξη του αντιβιοτικού).
