Είναι θετικό για καρκίνο; Ίχνη HPV λοίμωξη και ήπια διόγκωση πυρήνα στα κύτταρα στο τεστ Παπ
Στις παρατηρήσεις στο τέστ Παπ γράφει σπάνια πλακωδη και μετά πλαστικά κύτταρα παρουσιάζουν ήπια διόγκωση του πυρήνα χωρίς υπερχρωμια καθώς και σπάνιες ομάδες παρακερατωσικων κυττάρων. Στο συμπέρασμα γράφει ίχνη HPV λοίμωξη του τραχήλου (low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion). είναι θετικό για καρκίνο;

Καλησπέρα. Θέλω να σε καθησυχάσω και να σου εξηγήσω ότι το συμπέρασμα που αναφέρεις, με "ίχνη HPV λοίμωξης" δεν σημαίνει απαραίτητα ότι έχεις καρκίνο. Οι low grade αλλοιώσεις προκαλούνται από τον HPV και πολλές φορές υποχωρούν από μόνες τους, χωρίς να εξελιχθούν σε κάτι πιο σοβαρό.
Για να είμαστε σίγουροι και να λάβεις την καλύτερη δυνατή φροντίδα, θα ήταν σωστό να προγραμματίσεις έναν επιπλέον έλεγχο με κολποσκόπηση και HPV DNA test. Αυτός ο επιπλέον έλεγχος θα βοηθήσει να καταλάβουμε καλύτερα αν υπάρχει ανάγκη για περαιτέρω θεραπεία.
