Τι να κάνω για συχνές ουρολοιμώξεις σε κατάκοιτη 91χρονη με ιστορικό πυελονεφρίτιδας;
Η μητέρα μου είναι 91 ετών, κατάκοιτη και παθαίνει συχνές ουρολοιμώξεις. Έχει και ιστορικό πυελονεφρίτιδας. Κάθε 4 μήνες κάνουμε προληπτικά εξέταση ούρων και καλλιέργεια και όταν βρίσκουμε μικρόβιο και πριν ξεκινήσουν συμπτώματα παίρνει αντιβίωση. Τον τελευταίο μήνα έχει πάρει δύο συνεχόμενες φορές αντιβίωση (ciproxin και flagyl) και τώρα που τέλειωσε και η δεύτερη αντιβίωση ανιχνεύτηκε πάλι μικρόβιο. Τι μπορώ να κάνω?

Καλημέρα σας, αν η ασθενής φέρει ουροκαθετηρα αρχικά χρειάζεται αλλαγή ή και αφαίρεση προσωρινά ώστε να αποκλειστεί η αποίκιση του καθετήρα και να μπορέσει να αποστηρωσει,δευτερευόντως να σταλεί καλλιέργεια με αντιβιογραμμα και αλλαγή αντιβιοτικού ,αν δεν έχει πρόβλημα καρδιολογικά ή νεφρολογικά να καταναλώσει πολύ νερό και σε τελική φάση να εισαχθεί σε νοσοκομείο.Ελπίζω να βοήθησα.καλη συνέχεια και Ευχαριστώ πολύ
