Πρέπει να ενημερώσω νέο σύντροφο για HPV υψηλού κινδύνου με προφυλάξεις;
Καλησπέρα. Πρόσφατα διαγνώστηκα με HPV υψηλού κινδύνου ενώ πάντα χρησιμοποιούσα προφυλάξεις. Πλέον με τον επόμενο σύντροφο θα πρέπει να τον ενημερώσω; Μπορώ να τον κολλήσω ακόμα και αν παίρνουμε προφυλάξεις; Δεν ξέρω πώς να το επικοινωνήσω στο μέλλον

Δυστυχώς ο HPV μπορεί να μεταδοθεί ακόμα και αν παίρνετε προφυλάξεις γιατί μπορεί να υπάρχουν βλάβες περιφερικά του προφυλακτικού ή με τα προκαταρτικά από την τριβή των σωμάτων. Θα πρέπει να γίνει θεραπεία που ποικίλει αναλόγως της εντόπισης. Καμμιά φορά οι γυναικολόγοι αν είναι στον τράχηλο της μήτρας, κάνουν και κωνοειδή εκτομή αλλά πολλές φορές συστήνεται απλή παρακολούθηση και επανάληψη των εξετάσεων και στην συνέχεια βγαίνουν αρνητικές. Το εμβόλιο, βοηθά ακόμα και αν έχετε κολλήσει γιατί ενισχύειε το ανοσοποιητικό σύστημα.
