Παιδί 6 ετών με επαναλαμβανόμενη οστρακιά: κατάλληλη αντιβίωση?
Καλησπέρα. 6 χρόνων πέρασε οστρακιά περίπου πριν έναν μήνα πήρε αντιβίωση (amoxil), 10 μέρες μετά το τέλος της αντιβίωσης πάλι οστρακιά (θετικό τεστ) και ξεκίνησε augmentin. Ξανακόλλησε ή δεν τον έπιασε η αντιβίωση? Και αν δεν τον έπιασε η αντιβίωση, πώς θα ξέρω ποια αντιβίωση είναι κατάλληλη?

Μπορείτε να ζητήσετε να γίνει καλλιέργεια φαρυγγικού επιχρίσματος με αντιβιογραμμα για να φανεί η ευαισθησία του μικροβίου στα αντιβιοτικά. Στην συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των περιπτώσεων ωστόσο ο στρεπτόκοκκος που προκαλεί την οστρακιά θεραπεύεται και με τις δύο αυτές αντιβιώσεις που αναφέρετε.

Γίνεται αντιβιογραμμα επί θετικής καλλιέργειας στρεπτόκοκκου, και φαίνονται τα κατάλληλα αντιβιοτικά Δε δίνουμε θεραπεία σε θετικό τεστ αν δεν υπάρχουν τα αντίστοιχα συμπτώματα, πυρετός, πονόλαιμος, διόγκωση λεμφαδένων στο λαιμό. Ένα θετικό τεστ χώρις συμπτώματα είναι απλή φορεία, και δε χρειάζεται αντιβιοτικό
