Πόσο επώδυνη είναι η γαστροσκόπηση χωρίς μέθη ή νάρκωση λόγω απνοιών;
Λόγω απνοιων μου είπαν σε δημόσιο νοσοκομείο ότι θα κάνω γαστροσκόπηση χωρίς μέθη ή νάρκωση γιατί δεν συμμετέχει αναισθησιολογος .πόσο επώδυνο/δύσκολο είναι ;;;;

Αναλόγως τον ασθενή. Από απλά λίγο ενοχλητικό μέχρι βασανιστικό. Αν δεν έχετε άλλες επιλογές προσπαθείστε νε είστε ήρεμος και να συνεργαστείτε. Έτσι και αλλιώς παλιά.μόνο έτσι γινόταν.

Η γαστροσκόπηση γενικότερα δεν είναι επώδυνη εξέταση, απλά χρειάζεται ένα βαθμό συνεργασίας από τον εξεταζόμενο για να αποφύγει την κατάποση (που προκαλεί βήχα) την ώρα της εξέτασης. Το πόσο καλή είναι η συνεργασία έχει να κάνει και με τον κάθε εξεταζόμενο ξεχωριστά... δεν είναι μια απάντηση για όλους. Γενικότερα προτιμούμε τη χορήγηση μέθης κατά τη γαστροσκόπηση, όμως έχω υπόψη αρκετά παραδείγματα εξεταζόμενων που συνεργάστηκαν πολύ καλά και χωρίς μέθη.
