Είναι ασφαλής η μακροχρόνια χρήση του Ibutin για σύνδρομο ευερέθιστου εντέρου;
Γεια σας. Η μαμά μου 64 ετών, περίπου 20 χρόνια έχει σύνδρομο ευερέθιστου εντέρου, πριν 10 χρόνια ο γιατρός την είχε δώσει ibutin, όταν σταματάει το ibutin δεν αισθάνεται καλά και ο γιατρός την είπε άμα αισθάνεσαι καλά θα το πάρεις το ibutin, προσπάθησε να διακόψει αλλά αρρώστησε πάρα πολύ οπότε συνεχίζει να παίρνει. Το φάρμακο απ ότι μας είπαν κάποιοι άλλοι γιατροί δεν κάνει για μακροχρόνια χρήση. Θα ήθελα να μάθω την άποψη σας. Σας ευχαριστώ.

Τα φάρμακα που χρησιμοποιούνται για την αντιμετώπιση των συμπτωμάτων του ευερέθιστου εντέρου χορηγούνται συνήθως για μεσοπρόθεσμο διάστημα (εβδομάδες έως μήνες) με το σκεπτικό ότι το σύνδρομο αυτό έχει υφέσεις και εξάρσεις και δεν εμφανίζει συνεχή έξαρση για χρόνια. Εφόσον υπάρχει μακροχρόνια συνεχής συμπτωματολογία (και εφόσον έχουν αποκλειστεί άλλες αιτίες μέσω κολονοσκόπησης) μπορούν να δοκιμαστούν διατροφικές παρεμβάσεις (με συνδρομή διατροφολόγου) ή και παρεμβάσεις μείωσης του άγχους (εάν ο ασθενής εμφανίζει χρόνιο άγχος) .
