το οίδημα ωχράς οφείλεται σε ένα φάσμα αιτίων . Ιδανικά θα ήταν καλό να αντιμετωπισθεί το οίδημα και μετά να χειρουργηθείτε . Υπάρχουν όμως περιπτώσεις που θέλουν διαφορετική προσέγγισης.

Χαίρετε, στην περίπτωση που υπάρχει οίδημα ωχράς πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστεί πρώτιστα αυτό και κατόπιν να προχωρήσετε σε επέμβαση καταρράκτη. Διαφορετικά υπάρχει μεγάλη πιθανότητα το χειρουργείο να επιδεινώσει το οίδημα ωχράς με κακή πρόγνωση για την όραση μετεγχειρητικά. Ευχαριστώ

Αν είναι σκληρό οίδημα μικρού μεγέθους (“Drusen”) χειρουργηθείτε άφοβα, αν είναι Υγρό Οίδημα θα χρειαστεί πρωτίστως θεραπεία & σε δεύτερο χρόνο επέμβαση καταρράκτη
