Επιλογή φακού για καταρράκτη με μυωπία και αστιγματισμό στα 56 έτη
Καλημέρα. Είμαι 56 ετών και έχω στο δεξί μάτι μυωπία 6,50 βαθμούς, αστιγματισμό 2,5 και πρεσβυωπία. Διαγνώστηκα με καταρράκτη 5/10. Να προτιμήσω μόνο εστιακό φακό και να μου μείνει η μυωπία και ο αστιγματισμός ή πολυεστιακό και να βγάλω και τη μυωπία με τον αστιγματισμό; Επίσης από το αριστερό μάτι έχω 4,50 βαθμούς μυωπία, 1 βαθμό αστιγματισμό, πρεσβυωπία και 4/5 καταρράκτη. Οπότε σε δεύτερη φάση πρέπει να χειρουργηθώ και από το αριστερό. Δεν ξέρω τι είδους φακό να επιλέξω και αν πρέπει να βγάλω και τη μυωπία. Διατρέχω κινδύνους στην ηλικία που έχω και με τις συγκεκριμένες παθήσεις μου; Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ, για την υπομονή σας.

Σε μεγάλους βαθμούς μυωπίας είναι έτσι κι αλλοιώς λίγο πιο αυξημένος ο κίνδυνος για αποκόλληση σε βάθος χρόνου , όχι κατά την επέμβαση . Απο εκεί και πέρα το βέλτιστο θα ήταν μόνο εστιακός τορικος φακός που να διορθώνει πλήρως την μυωπία και τον αστιγματισμό και να φοράτε γυαλιά για κοντά. Και μια δεύτερη επιλογή θα ήταν να αφήσετε 1.25 βαθμούς μυωπίας στο δεξί οφθαλμό ώστε να υπάρχει καλή ενδιάμεση όραση πχ στον υπολογιστή χωρίς γυαλιά
