Εάν έχει ήπια συμπτώματα όχι. Η αντιβίωση δεν σκοτώνει τον ιό. Λαμβάνεται ως προφύλαξη για τυχόν επιμόλυνση όπως λέγεται, δηλαδή λοίμωξη από μικρόβια της στοματικής μας κοιλότητας π.χ. όσο το ανοσοποιητικό μας καταπολεμά τον ιό. Λοιπόν εάν δεν ανεβάσει υψηλό πυρετό ή δεν επιδεινωθεί η φαρυγγίτιδα, η ωτίτιδα, κοινά αντιπυρετικά από το στόμα, και συμπληρώματα βιταμινών C, D3 και ψευδαργύρου. Αυτά συστήνονται. Όμως πρωτίστως όχι βιασύνη, να δείτε επιδείνωση και μετά.
