Ενδείκνυται η εγχείρηση με λέιζερ για στραβό διάφραγμα και υπερτροφικές κόγχες;
Καλημέρα ο σύζυγός μου έχει στραβό διάφραγμα και υπερτροφικές κόγχες. Ο γιατρός του είπε πως αν δεν κάνει επεμβάσεις δεν θα απαλλαγεί από την ιγμορίτιδα. Η εγχείρηση με λέιζερ ενδείκνυται για την περίπτωση του;

Το λέιζερ μπορεί μεν όντως να βοηθά για τις κόγχες (εφόσον βέβαια μιλάμε για τον σωστό τύπο λέιζερ και όχι τον πολύ λιγότερο κατάλληλο και αποτελεσματικο τύπο που πολλοί χρησιμοποιούν), αλλά για το στραβό διάφραγμα πολύ σπάνια βοηθά από μόνο του - ενδείκνυται. Ευχαρίστως να τον εξετάσω και να τα πούμε αναλυτικά από κοντά, ως ειδικός μάλιστα στην επέμβαση του ρινικού διαφράγματος και των ρινικών κογχών

Οχι. Το laser δεν έχει θέση σε χειρουργείο του διαφράγματος και των κογχών. Έχει κάνει αξονική και έτσι έχει διαγνωσθεί η χρόνια ιγμορίτιδα; Έχει γίνει ενδοσκόπηση της μύτης για να διαπιστωθεί σε ποια σημεία είναι στραβό το διάφραγμα ώστε να προκαλεί ιγμορίτιδα; Καλό είναι να πάρετε και μια δεύτερη γνώμη.
