Υψηλή χοληστερίνη στις γυναίκες 50+ και εξειδικευμένες εξετάσεις αρτηριών

Είμαι γυναίκα 50 ετών, με κανονικό βάρος, δεν καπνίζω ασκουμαι πολύ τακτικά και κάνω μεσογειακή διατροφή. Έχω εκ γενετής υψηλή χοληστερίνη και φέτος μετά το τσεκ απ ο γιατρός συνέστησε και τριπλεξ καρωτίδων που ήταν φυσιολογικό και λήψη στατινων. Θέλω να ρωτήσω εάν υπάρχει κάποιο επιπλέον εξειδικευμένη διαγνωστική εξέταση που να δίνει μια πιο ολοκληρωμένη εικόνα για τις αρτηρίες.
