Προληπτικός έλεγχος πνευμόνων για 40χρονο μη καπνιστή χωρίς συμπτώματα;
Καλησπέρα! Είμαι 40 ετών μη καπνιστής, χωρίς κάποιο σύμπτωμα κι ιστορικό ή κληρονομικότητα. Θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω θα πρέπει να κάνω κάποιον προληπτικό έλεγχο για τα πνευμόνια μου; Ευχαριστώ!

Εφόσον είστε 40 χρονών, μη καπνιστής και χωρίς συμπτώματα, δεν κρίνεται απαραίτητος ο προσυμπτωματικός έλεγχος για καρκίνο του πνεύμονα, καθώς δεν πληρείτε τα κριτήρια που έχουν οριστεί. Επιπλέον, η διενέργεια εξειδικευμένων εξετάσεων αξιολόγησης αναπνευστικής λειτουργίας, π.χ. σπιρομέτρηση, δε συστήνεται.
Παρ'όλα αυτά εφόσον έχει περάσει εύλογο χρονικό διάστημα από την τελευταία σας ακτινογραφία θώρακος, συνίσταται μια προληπτικά.
