Χρειάζεται τεστ ΠΑΠ αν είχα μόνο σεξουαλική επαφή με γυναίκα;
Είμαι 29 χρονών και η μόνη σεξουαλική επαφή που είχα ποτέ ήταν με γυναίκα. Υπάρχει λόγος να κάνω τεστ ΠΑΠ; Έχω ασταθή κύκλο και έχω επισκεφτεί μια φορά γυναικολόγο η οποία μου έγραψε εξετάσεις αίματος (βγήκαν φυσιολογικές) και από τότε δεν έχω ξαναπάει. Ήθελε να μου κάνει και υπέρηχο ωοθηκών αλλά δεν είχα προετοιμαστεί κατάλληλα και δεν το κατάφερε.

Καλησπέρα. Ναι, ο λόγος που το τεστ Παπ είναι σημαντικό είναι γιατί ο HPV μπορεί να μεταδοθεί με κάθε είδους σεξουαλική επαφή, όχι μόνο με κολπική διείσδυση. Επίσης θα μπορούσατε να ελέγξετε την αιτία της αστάθειας στον κύκλο σας (πχ. Πολυκυστικές Ωοθήκες) κ να δείτε ποιες λύσεις υπάρχουν. Καταλαβαίνω την δυσκολία κ την αμηχανία που προκαλεί η γυναικολογικη εξέταση είναι όμως πολύ σημαντικά τα οφέλη που μπορεί να έχει για την υγεία σας. Ελπίζω να βοήθησα έστω και στο ελάχιστο.
