Η αύξηση οιδήματος και μηνιγγιώματος σημαίνει κακοήθεια;
Καλησπέρα σας. Εδώ & 2.5 χρόνια σε MRI εγκεφάλου, βρέθηκε ένα μηνιγγίωμα. Το παρακολουθώ με συχνές μαγνητικές προκειμένου να δούμε πόσο γρήγορα μεγαλώνει. Ήταν σταθερό μέχρι τη πρόσφατη μαγνητική που έδειξε ότι από 1.9 εκ πήγε 2.2, αλλά & ότι μεγάλωσε το οίδημα γύρω απ' αυτό. Ο γιατρός μου είπε να πάρω κορτιζόνη για ένα διάστημα & μετά να επαναλάβω τη μαγνητική. Η ερώτησή μου είναι, η αύξηση του οιδήματος συνδυαστικά με την αύξηση του μηνιγγιώματος, σημαίνει ότι τελικά μπορεί να μην είναι καλοήθης αλλά να υπάρχει κακοήθεια?

η αυξηση του οιδηματος μπορει να ωφείλεται στην άυξηση του μεγεθους αλλα μπορει να να σημαινει οτι αλλαζει βαθμο σε λιγότερο καλοηθης σε καποιες περιπτωσεις. Η κορτιζονη δεν εχει θεση σαν θεραπεια εδω. θα πρεπει να σας δουμε να το εκτιμησουμε.
