Εάν παίρνετε συμπληρωματικά για επιληψία π.χ. σε δόσεις κάτω των 100mg μπορείτε να πάρετε και παυσίπονο, ωστόσο σε δόσεις 150-300mg έχει ισχυρή αναλγητική δράση καθώς μπλοκάρει την μετάδοση της νευρικής ώσης. Άρα και του πόνου. Συνεπώς τότε είναι υπερβολή και το παυσίπονο. Σε μια ακραία περίπτωση που δεν σας πιάσει το Lyrica, λίγο απίθανο αυτό, πάρτε μικρότερη δόση αναλγητικού, μισό δισκίο π.χ. και σίγουρα με απόσταση αρκετών ωρών όταν αισθάνεστε ότι φεύγει η αναλγητική του δράση.
