Τι σημαίνει το HPV τύπου 66 ανιχνεύθηκε αλλά δεν υπάρχουν αλλοιώσεις;
Κατά την επίσκεψή μου στον γυναικολόγο για τον ετήσιο έλεγχο το τεστ Παπ βγήκε αρνητικό ενώ το HPV τεστ ανίχνευσε τον τύπο 66. Προχωρήσαμε ένα μήνα μετά το πέρας της εξέτασης σε κολποσκόπηση η οποία δεν έδειξε καμιά αλλοίωση και πιθανόν ο οργανισμός μου να τον έχει αντιμετωπίσει φυσικώς. Εν τέλει καταλήξαμε στο ότι συνεχίζω κανονικά τον ετήσιο έλεγχο και δεν συντρέχει λόγος ανησυχίας απλά θα πρέπει να προσέχω να έχω σωστή διατροφή για γερό ανοσοποιητικό. Αυτό τι σημαίνει ότι τον έχω ακόμα; Τον κόλλησα από τον σύντροφό μου που μπορεί να το έλαβε από προηγούμενη σχέση; Πρέπει να επαναλάβω το HPV τεστ μετά από λίγο καιρό να δω αν υπάρχει ακόμα; Υπάρχει άλλος τρόπος μετάδοσης;

Για τη μόλυνση από ιούς HPV δεν υπάρχει ασφαλής τρόπος προφύλαξης. Έτσι το 90% των σεξουαλικα ενεργώ ενηλίκων θα μολυνθούν κάποια στιγμή στη ζωή τους. Ο μόνος τρόπος να προστατευθείς είναι η αποχή! Θα πρότεινα επανάληψη του τεστ Παπ ή thin prep ή ακόμα και co testing σε 6 μήνες για να δούμε την εξέλιξη πιθανής βλάβης μιας και υπάρχει μόλυνση από ιό υψηλού κινδύνου.
