Καλλιέργεια κολπικού υγρού: Αντιμετώπιση μυκήτων όταν η αγωγή αποτυγχάνει
Καλησπέρα έκανα καλλιέργεια κολπικού υγρού γιατί ειχα φαγούρες και βρέθηκε ότι έχω μύκητες. Μου χορηγήθηκε αγωγή με χάπια τα fungostatinκαι κολπική κρέμα fungistat για μισ βδομάδα. Δεν μου έκανε τίποτα όμως γιατί οι φαγούρες συνεχίζονται. Τι να κάνω? Πρέπει να δοθεί άλλη αγωγή?

το fungostatin είναι αποτελεσματικό σε μύκητες τύπου Candida albicans αλλά όχι σε μύκητες τύπου Candida glabrata για πάράδειγμα, δηλαδή όχι πάντα. Μια κατάλληλη επανάληψη της κολπικής καλλιέργειας με ταυτόχρονο τραχηλικό επίχρισμα, ενδεχομένως να ήταν διαφωτιστική
