Πότε είναι αξιόπιστο το τεστ για HIV μετά από επαφή χωρίς προφυλακτικό;
Καλησπέρα. Ήρθα σε επαφή την προηγούμενη Πέμπτη με μια κοπελα χωρίς προφυλακτικό και μου έχει καρφωθεί η ιδέα ότι έχω κολλήσει Aids.Εν τω μεταξύ έχω κάποια συμπτώματα τα οποία νομίζω είναι πολύ νωρίς για να είναι από αυτό. Παρ' όλα αυτά θέλω να κάνω εξετάσεις για να δω αν είμαι αρνητικός η θετικός. Πότε μπορώ να κάνω για να είναι αξιόπιστο το αποτέλεσμα;

Με τις συνήθεις ανοσολογικές εξετάσεις, κάποιος-α που έχει μολυνθεί θα θετικοποιηθεί σε 4-8 εβδομάδες. Δηλαδή μπορεί να είναι οροθετικός και οι εξετάσεις να το δείξουν μετά από 4-8 εβδομάδες (χρονικό παράθυρο). Αν έχετε ισχυρή υποψία ότι ήρθατε σε επαφή με ασθενή με HIV, απευθυνθείτε σε κάποια μονάδα ειδικών λοιμώξεων.
