  • Δεδομένης της ηλικίας και της ΧΑΠ υπάρχει ελάχιστο περιθώριο χορήγησης μέθης. Το ζήτημα είναι πόσο απαραίτητη είναι η εξέταση, πχ εάν πρόκειται για αιματοκρίτη που πέφτει συνεχώς και δεν έχει βρεθεί κάποια αιτία για αυτό, τότε χρειάζεται να γίνει. Από εκεί και πέρα η προσέγγιση είναι εντελώς εξατομικευμένη βάσει της γενικής εικόνας του κάθε ασθενούς και δεν μπορεί να δοθεί μια γενική οδηγία για όλους.
