Γιατί να κάνω εμβόλιο για μηνιγγιτιδοκοκκική νόσο Β με χαμηλά κρούσματα;
Γιατί να κάνω ένα εμβόλιο που δεν προσφέρει σταθερή και ισχυρή ανοσία για τη μηνιγγιτιδοκοκκική νόσο Β τη στιγμή που βάσει της εθνικής επιτροπής εμβολιασμών στην Ελλάδα νόσησαν το 2021 και το 2022 μόνο 1 παιδί κάθε χρόνο αντίστοιχα;

Το εμβόλιο προσφέρει ανοσία για την περίοδο υψηλού κινδυνου, 5 χρόνια τουλάχιστον, αν γίνει στη βρεφική ηλικία και τα περιστατικά ανά έτος είναι περισσότερα σε αυτό το ηλικιακό φάσμα. Η μηνιγγιτιδοκοκκικη νόσος από ορότυπο Β παραμένει σπάνια αλλά είναι δυνητικά θανατηφόρος
