Σε αυτό καλό θα είναι να συμβουλευτείτε τον γιατρό σας ώστε να σας βοηθήσει. Δοσολογία για τη δυσκοιλιότητα: η δόση μπορεί να χορηγείται μία φορά την ημέρα, όπως για παράδειγμα κατά τη διάρκεια του πρωινού, ή να διαιρείται σε δύο δόσεις ημερησίως. Μετά από μερικές ημέρες χορήγησης και βάσει της ανταπόκρισης στην αγωγή, η αρχική δόση μπορεί να προσαρμοστεί στα επίπεδα της δόσης συντήρησης.
