Η τεχνολογία mRNA, γνωστή από την ανάπτυξη ορισμένων εμβολίων, δεν χρησιμοποιείται στις οδοντιατρικές αναισθησίες. Τα τοπικά αναισθητικά που εφαρμόζονται στην οδοντιατρική δεν περιέχουν στοιχεία mRNA.
