Πέρα από τα γνωστά φάρμακα για την άνοια, τα οποία βοηθούν στην επιβράδυνση της εξέλιξής της, θα ήταν συνετό να απευθυνθώ σε κάποιον ειδικό, προκειμένου να χορηγηθούν στη μητέρα μου πειραματικά φάρμακα για την άνοια; Αξίζει να δοκιμάσει κανείς τέτοια φάρμακα; Η μητέρα μου εδώ και τρία χρόνια λαμβάνει τα φάρμακα mentifar και rafazil, και αυτό που παρατηρώ είναι μια επιδείνωση, τόσο ως προς την ομιλία της, όσο και ως προς τη μνήμη και τη λειτουργικότητά της (π.χ. αδυναμία να στρώσει το τραπέζι, να τακτοποιήσει τις καρέκλες κλπ απλές κινήσεις).
