Έχει κάνει πρακτική στην Ψυχολογική εκτίμηση και Μαθησιακή αξιολόγηση παιδιών και εφήβων στο Ιατροπαιδαγωγικό Κέντρο του Νέου Ηρακλείου. Έχει παρακολουθήσει πολυάριθμα σεμινάρια για την υποστήριξη του παιδιού στο διαζύγιο, στην απώλεια και στην αντιμετώπιση της σοβαρής αρρώστιας, σεμινάρια Εμψύχωσης Ομάδων Εφήβων και Νέων και σεμινάρια για την Ψυχοπαθολογία του Παιδιού και του Εφήβου.

Με τη βοήθεια της κυρίας Καρακώστα αισθάνομαι πιο δυνατή, με αυξημένη σαφήνεια πάνω στο θέμα που συζητήσαμε. Με καθοδήγησε στο να βρω πρακτικές λύσεις και ποτέ δεν αισθάνθηκα ότι με έκρινε. Επίσης, δείχνει απόλυτο σεβασμό και κρατάει, πάντα, τη σωστή απόσταση που με κάνει να νιώθω ασφαλή. Χαίρομαι που επιτέλους έχω βρει μια αληθινή επαγγελματία!
