Dimitris Chrysafogeorgos is a Mental Health Counselor and Certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist (FOT), with diverse training and hands-on experience in experiential, person-centered, and positive psychology approaches.
Since 2023, he has been volunteering at the Franco Basaglia Day Center of the Regional Development and Mental Health Company (EPAPSY) in Marousi, Athens. His clinical practice includes internships at the Hellenic Focusing Center (conducting psychotherapy sessions with adults), the early childhood support center “To Megalo Mas Spiti”, ADHD Hellas, and the Hellenic Asperger’s Syndrome Association.
He is certified as a Focusing-Oriented Therapist by the International Focusing Institute in New York (2019–2023), and holds a diploma in Positive Psychology from the Hellenic Society for Positive Psychology. He is currently undergoing further specialization in Group Psychotherapy through Gignesthai – Hellenic Society for Existential Psychology, and pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Oxford Brookes University.
