Διατρέχω κίνδυνο λύσσας μετά από δάγκωμα γάτας στη Θεσσαλονίκη;
Γεια σας πριν από 2 εβδομάδες μια γάτα με δάγκωσε στο χέρι. Ήταν αρκετά φιλική μαζί μου και κάποια στιγμή προσπάθησε να σκαρφαλώσει πάνω στο παντελόνι μου. Την άφησα να κάτσει εκεί για λίγο αλλά μετά προσπάθησα να την κατεβάσω και προφανώς τρόμαξε ενστικτωδώς και με δάγκωσε. Το τραύμα δεν ήταν βαθύ, παρά μόνο επιφανειακό αλλά έτρεξε και λίγο αίμα. Δεν επικοινώνησα με κάποιον γιατρό, λάθος μου βέβαια. Έχει περάσει αυτός ο καιρός και το τραύμα επουλωθηκε δίχως ποτέ να μολυνθεί. Διατρεχω κάποιον κίνδυνο για λύσσα; Η γάτα ήταν παιχνιδιαρα, αδέσποτη μεν αλλά καλοφαγωμενη δε.

Η λύσσα είναι εξαιρετικά σπάνια νόσος ειδικά σε οικόσιτα ζώα. Θα σας πρότεινα αν αγχώνεστε για τη λύσσα συγκεκριμένα να ψάξετε να ξαναβρείτε τη γάτα. Αν είναι ακόμα ζωντανή τότε δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα, καθώς τα ζώα με λύσσα δεν ζουν πάνω από 2 εβδομάδες.
