Οι κολπικοί μύκητες προκαλούν ατροφία στον κολπο;

  • Καλησπέρα σας. Οι μύκητες δεν προκαλούν ατροφία στον κόλπο αφού η θρέψη και υγεία του κόλπου εξαρτάται κυρίως από τα οιστρογόνα που παράγονται από τις ωοθήκες. Αυτό όμως που κάνουν είναι να δημιουργούν μια τοπική φλεγμονή και να προκαλούν συμπτώματα που μοιάζουν με αυτά της ατροφίας. Όταν η φλεγμονή αυτή υποχωρεί και η χλωρίδα του κόλπου βρίσκει και πάλι την ισορροπία της η ελαστικότητα και η υγεία του κόλπου επανέρχεται. Ελπίζω να σας φάνηκε χρήσιμη η απάντηση μου.
