Να ρωτήσω ένα έμβρυο θεωρείται λένε τελειομηνο μετά την 37 βδομάδες.Το ίδιο είναι ένα παιδί που θα γεννηθεί στις 38 βδομάδες και ένα που θα γεννηθεί στις 41 βδομαδες;Εννοώ ότι αυτό που θα γεννηθεί στις 38 δεν στερείται ανάπτυξης;Και επίσης γιατί οι καισαρικές γίνονται στις 39 βδομάδες ιδανικά;υπάρχει κάποια αιτία;Εννοώ για αυτές που γίνονται χωρίς αιτία;

Αρχικά να πούμε ότι οι προγραμματισμένη καισαρικες γίνονται στις 39 εβδομάδες γιατί στατιστικά σε αυτό το διάστημα έχουμε το καλύτερο περιγεννητινο αποτέλεσμα, δηλαδή έχουμε τα νεογνά με τις λιγότερες επιπλοκές. Επίσης, ένα παιδί που θα γεννηθεί στις 41 εβδομάδες δεν κερδίζει κάτι σε ανάπτυξη, πέρα από λίγα γραμμάρια, αντίθετα, έχει αυξημένο ρίσκο για επιπλοκές με τη χειρότερη να είναι ο ενδομητριος θάνατος.
